While I am not in Paris for the 2024 Olympics, it is a huge goal of mine to shoot the Olympics one day either as part of a news wire service, editorial outlet or with a specific team. In the last year, I have had the honor of shooting some national teams and some iconic Olympics sports. Last summer, I shot the World Cup of Lacrosse in San Diego. This year, I was able to shoot both the Rugby 7’s event featuring the best national teams in the world, and have proceeded to shoot for a few Rugby Canada matches. Now, just a few weeks ago I had an opportunity to shoot fencing for the first time ever. It doesn’t get much more Olympic feeling than that. I hope that my skillset continues to improve, I grow my network of mentors and collaborators and can sprinkle in just enough luck that I get to shoot more big time events.
