The Miami @Marlins hit a grand slam and lit up our hospital with joy! 🌟⚾️ Skip Schumaker, manager of the Marlins, stopped by to deliver Joy Jars from the @TeamNEGU Foundation to our patients. Each jar is filled with toys and activities that bring a bundle of happiness, love and laughter to children who are undergoing treatment for cancer. Schumaker, along with a few Marlins players, passed out Joy Jars in remembrance of Jessie Joy Rees, a young girl who lost her life from pediatric cancer that changed Schumaker’s life forever.
