Come play with clay! Inspired by cannupahanska’s sculpture “Attrition,” we’re hosting hands-on workshops on Wednesday, August 14 at City Hall Park and Thursday, August 22 at madmuseum to make clay beads for the artist’s “Bison Bead Project.” 🦬
In these sessions, participants will create clay beads, each one a tangible symbol of the survival and regeneration of bison across North America. With the ambitious goal of crafting 31,000 beads—representing every Plains bison managed as wildlife—the “Bison Bead Project” stands as a testament to the power of collective action.
Registration is required for the workshop at Museum of Arts and Design. Audiences of all ages are encouraged to drop in to the programs at City Hall Park! See our
