Forget Paris, did you know we recently held the Olympics here in Victoria? ⁣ ⁣ This month we supported both the State and National 2024 Special Olympics Winter Games. 🎖 ⁣ ⁣ First up was the State Games in Melbourne. The two-day event saw around 300 athletes from across Victoria and interstate compete in a range of sports from gymnastics to basketball. ⁣ ⁣ We then embraced the snow at Mount Buller for the National Games, where 38 athletes from across the country competed in skiing and snowboarding.⁣ ⁣ Both events commenced with the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR), followed by the opening ceremony. ⁣ ⁣ We are proud to support the LETR, which promotes the inclusion and acceptance of people with intellectual disabilities, through fundraising and volunteering for the Special Olympics.⁣ ⁣ 📸 LETR⁣ #Olympics #SpecialOlympics #SpecialOlympicsVictoria #LETR #CommunityPolicing
