VCOP Spotlight June 2021 ROBB and ANDREA ADAMS As a maintenance electrician in industrial manufacturing, Robb says, “I basically fix stuff people didn’t know was broken in ways that they can’t figure out how I did it.” Meanwhile, Andrea has worked in the medical field in various positions that involve overseeing programming and coordinating staff. Despite their busy work lives, when they relocated here from Long Island, New York in 2006, they looked for a volunteer opportunity that they both shared a passion for – supporting law enforcement. Since joining the VCOP ranks in August 2020 they’ve become valuable members of the organization. Robb is currently training to assist with non-injury accidents. Andrea helps out at the front desk, and they both go out on patrol. They are the parents of 4 children and 3 grandchildren and spending time with their family often includes Andrea’s wonderful homecooked Sunday dinners.
