Palm Bay K9 concluded their yearly K9 certification through NAPWDA (North American Police Work Dog Association). The certification areas were patrol based functions and drug detection. K9 Officer B. Patrick and K9 Officer Hurtado conducted 30+ certification and training drug sniffs. K9 Jasper (handled by Officer Patrick) and K9 Archer (handled by Officer Hurtado) performed admirably. In the process of certifying through NAPWDA, they were also able to obtain their certification through FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement).
