We would like to give a big shout-out to Seaside Vacations (outerbanks) for their generosity in funding our brand new well in the community of M'gaule, Malawi! Last week we held an inauguration event, and most everyone in the village attended, from babies to elders, with big smiles and lots of joy. It's common for community members to sing, dance, and perform skits during these events - and this particular one focused on the whole community being responsible for protecting the pump from damage or theft. In the performance on the last slide, we witness a family trying to steal parts of the pump, but getting caught and fined by other community members. It was created by the community and intended as a lesson, but it was delivered with great fun!
