(Part 1 / 2) Last month, we announced a brand new class of sponsored high school students from the community of Jiti 🙌. 22 students were awarded the chance to continue their studies with their school fees and classroom materials covered by The Sonder Project. We first announced the names of the selected students in a community meeting with their parents. Their relief and excitement was palpable as the names of their children were called! All of them told us they have high hopes for their children to finish high school, pursue higher education, and seek careers in such diverse fields as medicine, journalism, education, and engineering -- and ultimately support their community and families.
