Community members are lining up from Burkina Faso🇧🇫 to Malawi🇲🇼 to affirm their commitment to our partnership and a new clean water well in their community! Before we drill, we collect hundreds of signatures, or fingerprints when literacy is the obstacle, to affirm 1) the well will remain accessible to all 2) the community will collect the necessary raw materials (sand & gravel) to complete the well 3)a gender-equal committee will oversee and maintain the well. Soon we will drill 6 new wells to increase access to clean water for over 2,500 people.
