Core Value #5 - Demand Equality We believe all people are entitled to the same opportunities regardless of race, color, gender, ethnicity, language, sexual orientation, religion or nationality, but believing it is not enough. For every leadership committee that is established, we demand an equal number of men and women participate; for every school that is built, we demand girls are sent to school as equally as boys; for every student sponsored, we demand at least one out of two must be female. Collaborating across cultures requires us to respect norms which may be different from our own, but some things are simply not negotiable. Equality in representation and leadership is one of them, and sometimes you have to demand it.
