Two firsts for Summer! 🙌 • Summer McIntosh won her first Olympic medal and Canada’s first medal at the Paris Olympics by capturing silver in the women’s 400-meter freestyle on Saturday. 🥈 • McIntosh swam a time of 3:58.37, finishing just 0.88 seconds behind Australia’s Ariarne Titmus, who defended her crown by winning gold for the second consecutive time. American Katie Ledecky took bronze. 🏊‍♀️ • Catch McIntosh in the pool again later when she competes in the women’s 4x100 freestyle relay. 👀 #thegist • (c/o Getty Images) • #paris2024 #womenssports #swimming #olympics
