Today we're spotlighting latinagirlscodeorg Created in 2014, Latina Girls Code is a program created to fill the diversity gap between girls, specifically Latinas, who are interested in technology through tangible education and resources. Service girls ages 7-17, Latina Girls Code provides computers, mentors and classes as well as internship opportunities,workshops, hack-athons and multi-week programs to learn the latest technology languages and entrepreneurial skills. Latina Girls Code is dedicated to showing young women and Hispanic girls different paths they may take in a technology career. So today during Women’s History Month, as we honor those who have paved the way for us lets also celebrate those who are making an impact now.
