Today we celebrate the amazing work of CODeLLA! Located in Miami, Florida codellainnovate is a nonprofit organization that introduces Latina and other underrepresented girls to coding, entrepreneurship, mentorship and more! Providing a girls only environment, CODeLLA's mission is to empower girls with the confidence and skills to enable them to design, prototype and build their own Digital Products. Since their start in 2014, CODeLLA has reached 1100+ Girls in the Miami-Dade County Area.They are also the first-in-the-nation outreach program focusing on increasing the number of middle school aged Latina and other under-represented girls engaging in STEM. Providing a variety of programs in Miami-Dade County such as an 8 week summer coding immersion + tech entrepreneurship program, technology events, conferences and more!
