✨Let Muslim Women Compete✨ We stand with our French Muslim sisters who are currently banned from competing in the Olympics due to their decision to wear the hijab. We are disappointed in the International Sport Governing Bodies such as International Olympic Committee & olympics for not addressing this discriminatory act and lifting the ban. We urge the International Olympic Committee and the Olympics to investigate and ensure the integrity of sport is upheld at the international level. While this ban may discourage some of our girls and women from competing, we will continue to create a safe space where Muslim girls and women feel included and belonged in basketball. We hope to one day host our French sisters to show them how much we value their sacrifice for their sport.
