Wow! Viking miler Calahan Warren ran an amazing 4:02.67 mile today at the Five and Dime meet in South Carolina. This is the fastest mile ever run by a WWU student athlete, eclipsing both the indoor and outdoor bests. Running a PB in December without a full-race schedule buildup bodes well for what he can do this spring! Calahan has bought in to the training philosophy, and brought amazing work ethic and maturity to the team.
