The TRHS Girls Volleyball Team would like to thank Dr. Sidney Gaskins, a 1993 Roosevelt graduate. She traveled all the way from Illinois to donate her time to talk to the team about mental health specific to athletes, gave pointers on how to be a better teammate, demonstrated yoga techniques to alleviate stress, and instructed the athletes on ways to center themselves through meditation.
