Something special happened at tanenbaumchat last week. A teacher from St. Joseph’s Morrow Park reached out to VP Rabbi Mandel to share a letter her World Religions class wrote in support of our school and the Jewish community. Last Thursday, students from our Interfaith Group met with peers from St. Joseph’s to talk and share perspectives. We leave you with an excerpt from the letter: “As our brothers and sisters we are deeply concerned for your community in light of the recent events unfolding in the Middle East and the increase of antisemitism here in our city. No human being should feel persecuted because of their faith... St. Joseph's Morrow Park does not stand for discrimination of any kind and we are praying for all families that have been impacted. Your struggles have filled our community’s hearts with sorrow but your resilience brings us hope for a better future.” #findyourself #buildingbridges #prayingforpeace #tanenbaumchat
