As we continue to navigate this difficult time, this week students tanenbaumchat were fortunate to have the chance to speak with mental health professionals and fellow teenagers to learn, laugh, and support one another. Social workers Diana Kirzner and Michael Waxman graciously volunteered their time to speak to each grade about managing and coping with trauma. This morning, the ujafederation Shinshinim were in school. These young Israeli leaders have completed high school and are in the GTA for one year to volunteer in our community. They sat down with our students to speak candidly about how they were feeling as Israelis in Toronto at this time, and gave our students the opportunity to discuss their own experiences.
