This afternoon, tanenbaumchat acknowledged Truth and Reconciliation Day by pausing classes to listen to remarks written by Grade 11 students Dari and Lielle. "September 30th (observed this year at our school today) marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a day to remember all of the horrific events that took place at residential schools," said Dari and Lielle in their poignant remarks that echoed throughout the school.
