This morning, tanenbaumchat came together for Yom HaShoah ve-HaGevurah - Holocaust Remembrance Day. Todah rabah to our Yom HaShoah committee for putting together a powerful assembly that included readings, vocals, instruments and prayer. The intent of today’s program was to commemorate the victims who were murdered at the hand of the Nazis while at the same time honouring the survivors and rescuers through the lens of various Holocaust memorials from around the world.
