Yesterday, our tanenbaumchat faculty and staff came together for a PD Day. Teacher Professional Development (PD) days are an important part of a teacher's professional development. These days are set aside for teachers to improve their teaching skills, learn new strategies and techniques, and stay up-to-date with the latest research in their field. PD days can be a valuable opportunity for teachers to come together, share ideas and experiences, and collaborate with their peers. PD kicked off with a fascinating and very informative keynote by Dwayne Matthews on the "Future of Education" and the positive* and negative implications of AI in education. The day continued with five of our very own teachers sharing best-practices with fellow faculty and culminated with department meetings and an important CPR course for our athletic department and coaches courtesy of greatlakesbirth.
