At lunchtime today, our student-run Holocaust Education Committee was honoured to welcome guest speaker Rachel Libman, Chief Curator of ujafederation’s newly renovated Toronto Holocaust Museum, opening at the Sherman Campus in June 2023. Rachel, pictured with co-committee heads Brooke B. and Kyle G., spoke to a group of interested students, faculty and staff about the importance of continuing to amplify the voices of survivors for years to come, and how the technologically immersive museum will educate generations to come on the horrors and lessons learned from the Holocaust.
