One of the more special aspects of tanenbaumchat’s Becker International Invitational Basketball Tournament tipping off today isn’t just about the action that takes place on the court, but rather off the court as well! Case in point: this morning, players from our two participating teams from Israel (Leo Baeck and Elitzur) were invited to take part in our optional morning minyan prior to the start of school. The activities continued in our Hennick Family Atrium where our very own Tigers joined our guests to learn about life in Haifa and Petach Tikva, Israeli slang and create connections between both players and countries.
