This weekend marks the start of the 2023 Israel Becker International Invitational Basketball Tournament at tanenbaumchat. The inaugural tournament was held in 1995 as a tribute to the memory of our alumnus and Varsity basketball player Israel Becker ’88. This year, after a three-year hiatus, the tournament returns as our school welcomes teams from Toronto, Montreal, Baltimore & Rockville MD, and Israel! Todah rabah to our student volunteers who went to the airport this morning to welcome the Leo Baeck team from Haifa.
