Chanukah is just around the corner, and tanenbaumchat is already getting into the spirit of things. Yesterday afternoon, our Israeli Engagement Committee teamed up with ujafederation’s Israel Engagement ShinShinim to celebrate the Chag, Israeli-style! Befitting the mission of the Shinshinim program — inviting young Israeli leaders who have just finished high school to come to the GTA for one year to volunteer and bring an authentic Israel experience to our community — Monday’s event transformed the Hennick Family Atrium into an Israeli Chanukah party.
