Now that we’ve reached the half-way mark of our summer break, at this educational institution, we thought we’d interrupt everyone’s fun in the sun by throwing a little math your way! This past July, 51 TanenbaumCHAT students and alumni traveled to Israel to represent Canada in the 21st Maccabiah Games. Canada’s contingent included 27 current TanenbaumCHAT student athletes, 22 alumni athletes, and 2 alumni who served as the team managers. The athletes competed in a multitude of sports, including soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, and more. Exemplifying athletic excellence, Canada emerged victorious on the international playing field, with 23 TanenbaumCHAT athletes earning medals.
