Tanenbaumchat was saddened to hear the news that Max Eisen z”l passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the age of 93. Since surviving the Holocaust and building a new life for himself in Toronto, Max dedicated his life to Holocaust education. Our school community won’t soon forget how generous Max was with his time, telling and re-telling his harrowing story of survival both in-person and online. As was his hope, his legacy and story will live on through our tanenbaumchat students and the thousands of other people, both young and old, he inspired to stand up against hate.
