Today tanenbaumchat came together to celebrate Israel’s Independence Day. The morning started off with a combined Yom HaZikaron/Yom Ha'atzmaut ceremony broadcast live to our classrooms via Zoom from our Matlow Black Box Theatre. Following the moving ceremony that saw students and faculty reflect on those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in helping Israel reach this momentous 74th birthday, our students made their way to the athletic field to celebrate with food and fun.
