Over the course of the past few weeks, tanenbaumchat has been fortunate to be able to check in with members of our school community in Israel. Todah Rabah to former teachers and shlichim, Avi and Noga Grossman for speaking about their experience in Lod, a city with a long tradition of peaceful co-existence between Jewish and Arab neighbours. Class of 2020 alumni Zara Berman, Talia Levitt and Jacob Samson spoke with students and faculty about what life is like when your gap year coincides with both COVID-19 and an unexpected war in a session organized by our shlichim kaparaisrael.
