Today @tanenbaumchat came together in a virtual assembly to commemorate Yom HaZikaron (Israel's memorial day) and Yom Ha'Atzmaut (Israel's 72nd independence day). It was a ceremony filled with prayer, reflection and song. Starting with a moment of silence in honour of Israel's 23,816 fallen soldiers and 3,153 victims of terror and featuring moving contributions from our students, faculty, Israel Engagement Shlichim, and guest speakers alike, our ceremony ended on a celebratory note.
