Over the course of the school year, we are honoured to welcome a variety of guest speakers from the IDF to TanenbaumCHAT. In January of this year, alum Seth Frieberg ‘08 returned to tanenbaumchat to recount his experience as a lone soldier and machine gunner in the Paratroopers Brigade. In February, Izzy Ezagui shared his story as the world’s first soldier to lose a limb in combat and return to the battlefield. Today, on Yom HaZikaron we reflect on those who will never be able to join us to tell their story. Today, we remember and honour those soldiers who died protecting Israel and the victims of terrorism. May their memories be a blessing. #yomHaZikaron #tanenbaumchat
