In a new report released by the Food Research and Action Center, last summer was the third consecutive year in which participation in the nation's federal summer nutrition programs fell. This means that kids are not receiving the nutrition they need to grow into healthy and productive citizens. (Read the news article – link in bio). . At #tcaa, we are committed to ending childhood food insecurity by providing emergency food boxes at our Food Pantry and at participating Tempe Schools. In FY2018 over 1,600 food boxes were distributed our partnering school sites, benefitting more than 3,150 students and their family members. .
