I think it’s better to have something in your mind that you are passionate about talking about and you get up there and just talk about it. You don’t have the burden of trying to reference notes the whole time. It’s one thing that jesseitzler taught me when I first started speaking. When you start out you have to have some little piece of paper with notes on it, but you can see someone who’s really confident about the things they are talking about if they don’t have notes up there.
