The Humboldt Hockey team tragedy hits me deep in the heart. Having grown up playing hockey for 15 years to now playing baseball and spending almost more time on a bus than I do on the field. I can only imagine how devastated the victims family’s are. From all the time and money spent in their youth to get these boys to this point in their career, just trying to chase a dream. The sacrifice that their parents made to give their son the opportunity to go after this dream. These boys will always be on my mind this baseball season. I will do my best to embody the hockey mentality that these boys had everyday.
