US Indoor Lacrosse announced Oliver Marti as the Head Coach of the 2023 USA U21 Indoor Team which will compete in the 2023 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship. Marti is an owner and CEO of the NLL Albany FireWolves and founder of the Connecticut Collegiate Box Lacrosse League; he is a former Team Canada and NLL player. Marti began playing box lacrosse at the age of 5 in British Columbia, Canada culminating in two Minto Cup appearances with the Jr A Richmond Outlaws in ’89 & ’90 and a Mann Cup appearance with New Westminster Salmonbellies of the Western Lacrosse Association in 1992. As a member of the Brown Bears men’s lacrosse team from 1991 to 1993, he set NCAA records for most goals in a game and ranks fifth all time in average goals per game in a career.
