Wanted to take some time to myself after this trip. Time to self-reflect, digest and decompress. I still quite haven’t found the words to describe all of the emotions that I’ve felt this past week. From the new information I’ve learned from attending workshops & sessions to listening to everyone’s personal battles with eczema. What amazes me the most is seeing the differences and similarities with everyone’s stories. While we have unique journey’s to share and live completely different lives, it’s fascinating that the eczema community has this deep, unspoken connection with one another. All I feel is gratitude. Thank you nationaleczema for hosting the expo and giving me the chance to meet others in this community. Thank you to andrewhida and his production team for giving myself, cyntheacorfah, jdopefx and inspirationalmecca a safe space to share our stories to the world through your lenses.
