Thursday, February 2, 2023, Kansas City, Missouri- I was privileged to be part of the press conference to announce the winners of the Folklore Grant to Latino-owned businesses will receive a total of $100,000 in financial aid thanks to the Folklore Grant. This financial aid is intended to help them grow their business while keeping the Latino culture prevalent in Kansas City. Launching a grant program for small Latino businesses in partnership with Wells Fargo, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Fresco Marketing, and the NeWin Foundation. $100,000 will be divided into ten grants of $10,000 each.
