The closer I get to my subjects—the more the subject takes center stage. This kind of simplicity in a photograph tells a clear story and one that is easy to understand. Taken during the Day of the Dead parade, there was a sense of urgency on these busy streets as people helped each other move through crowds quickly by helping push forward. Visiting many of their favorite vendors along the parade route.
