Architecture lovers will love our Chicago architecture tour. I could see the different styles of high-rise buildings in Chicago, a city with so much history behind it. The progression of building styles started from the 1920s to the contemporary iterations in the form of Art-Deco, Gothic revival, Chicago School, Romanesque and Brutalist - a futuristic architecture design for riverfront properties such as Marina City. There were also interesting stories behind how each was built from conception to completion. The next stop was downtown Chicago and River City, where more skyscrapers popped up everywhere we went, along with impressive bridges built across the river. An additional highlight was seeing Marina City, which is a highly futuristic-looking structure made out of concrete. I had never seen something like this take shape before my eyes, so it definitely captured my attention.
