I will never stop sharing my story, and what God has done in my life. I know worship music is not what I typically do, but this song has had an immense effect on my life since I was a child. So I did a cover of it to tell my story, and if it helps one person, then it’s worth it. There were so many times I felt left out on in life during my 7 year long chronic health journey. I was hooked up to IV’s or catheter in my chest all day as I looked out the window and watched the world zoom past me. I wasn’t going to school, hanging with friends and getting my drivers license like the all the other kids my age were. There was not much I could do. This brought on extreme mental health issues and suicidal thoughts on top of the physical issues. Being sick was my new normal. So much so that I didn’t even remember what it was like to feel healthy and strong.
