Book #3 completed at, like, 6:30 this morning when I couldn’t go back to sleep after feeding the doggos. #BloodAndHoney is the second book in the #SerpentAndDove series and, as was an issue with the first one, the pacing is off. Character development is also a little 🤔 (in my professional editor’s opinion). There are far too many erratic decisions and I’m stuck between whether this was intentional and meant to be frustrating or if it comes from a lack of strong developmental editing. I gave both books ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ on Goodreads because I can’t give half-stars and prefer to round up instead of down. The story and plot are enjoyable, and I’ve already purchased the 3rd/final book in the series so I can find out how it all ends.
