Sweet Emma, our tiny dancer (who isn’t so tiny anymore), had her 6th recital yesterday, and I’m so, so proud of her and her hard work and dedication this year and thankful for the commitment of her teachers to keeping their school safe. This is the first time since December of 2019 that we’ve been able to see her dance on a stage while sitting in the same room with her, and my heart. Y’all. It felt almost normal. Was it different?
