🥇TRI-STATE DEKA FIT ROAD SHOW🥇 Coming into this race I had two seperate goals. First, qualify for the DEKA World Championship. Second, podium in my age group. Well ladies and gentlemen, we did both!! I felt that I ran a very smooth race overall today and was extremely happy with the performance. "Controlled choas," "be ready to go dark." Those two things I repeated to myself over the course of this race. I was hovering around a 7:10-7:15 min/mi pace for my runs and really attacked each Zone. I had a hiccup and chose a bike with an extremely low seat and was a little too aggressive on the ski. Both in turn caused me to have to shift my focus and adapt.
