Luca Vitale, Mizzou Hockey broadcast manager, chats with former Mizzou winger Austin Gast as we wrap up our former player appearances on the show for the time being. Don't worry! We'll continue to welcome back former players on Mizzou Hockey TV in the future! Austin discusses the dark times the Mizzou organization encountered a couple of years ago when it received a demotion to D3 in the ACHA. Those dark times didn't just include a demotion but also a team that went 0-22 and had 13 active skaters. Luca and Austin then compare the team's darkest times to a program on the rise as we welcome three new players for the second half of the season. Austin also gives a piece of advice for the younger players as Mizzou hopes to ride the first half of the season's momentum into the second half en route to a national championship.
