@mikkelson12 gives you a step by step of a great pre-game meal that she has: ~
What’s on the menu:
- Lightly Seasoned Baked Chicken Breasts
- Brown Basmati Rice
- Baked Broccoli seasoned w/ Nutritional Yeast
*I typically eat this approximately 3 hours before a game
~
Substitute chicken for your favourite lean protein (I have vegan wheat meats often), rice for any other whole grain, and a veggie of your liking! Also try to incorporate some healthy fats into your meal to sustain energy 💪🏼 I also throw an energy bar in my bag to snack on throughout games!
