This movement was started by Turkish women and was sparked by the brutal murder of 27-year-old Pinar Gültekin. They wanted to not only demand justice for Pinar, but bring awareness to the horrific violence against women in Turkey and the shockingly high femicide rate. I am keeping this photo up to show my support of our Turkish sisters and to help add to the voices.
