I’m gutted! The cycling community is a tight group. Especially so on the track cycling side. Over the years, I have grown very close to this bunch, starting out in Northern California. This is where I met Ethan Boyes. On the bike, an incredible talent. Off the bike, an even better person. This morning I found out my friend Ethan was killed by an out of control speeding car, while riding his bike in San Francisco. I hope the driver is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I’ve had the honor & privilege of capturing images of Ethan over the past few years, including at the 2022 UCI Masters Track Cycling World Championships at the Velo Sports Center in Carson, California where he won three World Championship golds (Time Trial, Sprint & Team Sprint). I spent the afternoon putting together this tribute to my friend. Rest in peace Ethan.
