It all happened on Sunday morning, when a teen driver drove her car off the boat launch right into the Pascagoula River. Evans saw the car sinking and jumped into action, ditching his shirt, shoes, and phone, diving in to get them out of the water. After successfully getting them back to dry ground, he noticed an officer drowning as well. In a moment of questionable judgment, he rescued the member of the violent gang.
