In 1987, Oprah Winfrey interviewed members of the YT-only town. In the years to come, the racist town murdered one of the first Black people to move in and terrorized the others. Now, we’re looking at the children of the racist colonizers carrying on their parents’ hate. • A video is going viral showing racist students from Vidor High School yelling the n-word as they walk through the hallway. Not all of the students have been identified yet, but according to Twitter, Layla Jenkins and Alexys (no last name given) were two of the students.
