EXCLUSIVE- An 11-year-old Mississippi boy who was shot in the chest by a police officer after the child called 911 for help is recovering after being released from the ICU. The family is calling for the officer to be fired and charged with the shooting. Aderrien Murry suffered a lacerated liver, fractured ribs and developed a collapsed lung. His mother tells me after he was shot he asked her, “Why did I get shot? What did I do wrong?” She says he sang gospel songs and prayed while laying on the floor bleeding out. There is body camera footage of the shooting but police are declining to release it because of an ongoing investigation. Aderrien called 911 after his mother feared for her safety with the father of another one of her children showed up to the house at 4a on Saturday.
